FAQs

What should I wear?

Most facials include a light neck and décolletage massage. During your visit, you will be given a wrap and asked to remove your top. You may keep your top on. Your comfort is our goal.

What is your cancellation policy?

We adhere strictly to time and payment agreements. And we require a 24 Hour cancellation notice for all appointments. You are charged $80 for each missed appointment and cancellation made less than 24 hours before your visit.

Gift certificates and prepaid services will go towards full payment of your missed appointment or late-cancelation.

To avoid this fee, call our office (510-336-9860) 24-hours a day and leave a voicemail to cancel your appointment.

Can my child come with me?

For your complete enjoyment and relaxation please leave your little ones at home. It is your time to relax and escape the “real” world.

What is an acceptable tip?

15% is a customary tip, but you may, of course, leave more or less, depending on the quality of the service.

I have a medical condition, can I still have a facial?

Certain treatments may not be advisable for you. If you have any type of medical condition, be sure to mention it when you book an appointment. Let us know if you are wearing contact lenses. On the day of your treatment, try to stay out of the sun and avoid alcoholic beverages.

We avoid using pumpkin peel during your treatment if you:

  • Have allergies or are sensitive to alpha-hydroxy products
  • Are using a prescriptive topical or cream
  • Have extreme skin conditions, such as rosacea or open lesions
  • Had recent plastic surgery or a medical procedure
  • Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • Have or will have frequent sun exposure
  • Are taking an antibiotic known to cause sun sensitivity

What forms of payment are acceptable?

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, (soon) Care Credit )
  • Debit Cards

Are pets allowed in your studio?

We love pets; however, some guests may be allergic to them. Please leave them at home.

Can I shave my skin before an appointment?

We ask that you do not wax or shave your face one day before your appointment.
