New Studio Practices & Procedures

Our commitment has, and will always be, to operate a clean and disease-free business, to protect the health and welfare of our workplace, our staff, and our clients.

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND SOCIAL DISTANCING PROCEDURES

To ensure the highest quality of care during your appointment, we are following thorough and strict guidelines recommended by state health authorities regarding health and hygiene protocols.

Here’s what to expect here at Skin By Maisha

  • We will practice social distancing throughout the Studio.

 

  • Studio Pick Up and Online Orders are available for all products
    • If you would like to come into the studio to pick up products please call in advance and we will process your order
      over the phone. Pick up hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
    • Online orders are always available to you. You may select “Shipping” or “Studio Pick Up”.
    • Contactless payment ONLY,  and we have various payment options. You can either purchase online prior to pick-up or in the studio. We will advise you when you arrive your options for payment.
      Cash WILL NOT be accepted until further notice.
  • Before your appointment:
    • If you aren’t feeling well, please reschedule your appointment with us.
    • We are now requiring that you pay for your service in FULL 48 hours prior to your appointment to prevent last-minute cancellations with payments that can’t be processed.
    • As always, please confirm or cancel 48 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
    • On the homepage of our website, at the bottom of the page, you will find Studio Forms To Complete.
      Prior to your appointment be sure to complete the following forms:

    • If you fail to complete the above forms prior to your appointment, you will need to complete the forms in the studio. This will cut into the timing of your service, and we will not be able to extend your service because we are following strict procedures.

 

  • The day of your appointment:
    • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to conduct a contactless temperature screening at check-in.
      If this does not work for your schedule, we need 48 hours in advance notice to avoid cancellation fees, as we may need to reschedule your appointment as our appointment times are carefully managed and staggered.
    • If your temperature is at or above 100.3 degrees, we deeply apologize, we will not be able to allow you in the studio.
    • Wear your own face mask to your appointment and keep it on until we guide you on when to remove it.
    • We can’t allow anyone in the studio without an appointment, so
      please do not bring any family members or other guests to your appointment.
    • You’ll check in with us outside of the studio. We will conduct a health and temperature check at that time.
    • After check-in, if we are still assisting another guest we will ask that you utilize our outdoor seating or
      your vehicle until we call you in.
    • After your appointment, our staff can help you with products from our retail area.
  • We’ll be wearing masks, face shields, gloves, and eye protection for everyone’s safety.
  • We are sanitizing between every client – this includes our treatment rooms, restrooms, front desk, and retail areas.
  • We’ve swapped some of our linens, sheets, and protective covers in the treatment rooms with plastic covers to be
    even more hygienic. At this time, we provide sanitized, flannel sheets for warmth if needed.
  • We are keeping it minimal – so you’ll see we’ve paused on our product testers and complimentary refreshments. Cups for water are available upon request.
  • We ask that you adhere to social distancing inside our studio common areas.

Our studio follows the highest health and hygiene protocols at all times – including thorough sanitization of all common spaces throughout the day and of treatment rooms between every appointment.

 

We’ve also put some new measures in place for your next visit:

  • Regular health screenings for all our staff.
  • Thorough sanitization of our studio every 30 minutes and in-between each client visit, including treatment rooms, front desk, retail area, the waiting area,
    restrooms, and staff-only areas.
