First Time Information

If it’s your first time getting waxed, a facial treatment, or massage, please let us know. The most important thing is for you to relax. The environment is created in such a way to help you relax, and escape the real world. Close your eyes; don’t feel like you have to talk the whole time. We are happy to facilitate relaxation by allowing you to sit quietly and enjoy the service. If you aren’t sure about where to go, what to wear, or what to do, simply ask, or let us know that it is your first time. If you are unsure of which treatment to choose, we will customize your facial or massage according to your skin-type.


Electronic Devices: Please turn off cell phones and pagers.

Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to ensure you have time to relax and enjoy the full experience.

Medical Conditions

If you have any type of medical condition, be sure to mention it when you book an appointment. Certain treatments may not be advisable for you. Also, tell the skin therapist if you’re wearing contact lenses before you have a facial. Mixing activities and Facial Treatments: On the day of your treatment, try to stay out of the sun and avoid alcoholic beverages. Avoid using Pumpkin Peel if you apply to any of the following: • Using a prescriptive topical or cream. • Have or will have constant sun exposure. • Recent plastic surgery or medical procedures. • Taking an antibiotic known to cause sun sensitivity. • Pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant. • Extreme skin conditions such as rosacea or open lesions. • Allergies or sensitivities to alpha-hydroxy products.


In order to avoid all worries and stress, leave all jewelry and valuables at home.


If you must shave, do so at least two hours before your scheduled appointment, particularly if you’re a man receiving a facial or a woman receiving any kind of scheduled bodywork.


Light, comfortable attire. For facials, You will be asked to remove just your top and put on a gown or robe. For massages you will remove everything and cover yourself under a sheet and blanket. Most facials include a light massage to your neck and decolletage. You may keep your top on if you wish. Your comfort is our main concern.

Communicating your preferences

Be sure to speak up. All aspects of treatment can be modified to your taste: amount of light, kind (or absence) of music, room temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. If you want a deep massage, or be gentler, let us know. Also, feel free to ask questions. We enjoy knowing your thoughts and clarifying any issues you may have. If any part of your experience is unsatisfactory, please let us know. Your satisfaction is important to us.


For your complete enjoyment and relaxation please leave your little ones at home. It is your time to relax and escape the “real” world.


We love pets…But, please leave them at home as some guests may be allergic to them.


About 15% is customary, but you may of course leave more or less, depending on the quality of the service.

Cancellation Policy

We require a 24 Hour cancellation notice for all appointments. Your credit card number will be kept on file and will be charged each time an appointment is missed without at least 24 hours advance notice. If you have a gift certificate or have prepaid for your service, it will be used towards full payment of your missed appointment. You can always call our office (24-hours a day) to leave a voicemail to cancel an appointment. Our phone has caller ID. If you leave a message and the message did not save on our voice mail, you must provide us with number you called from, and it must be on our caller ID log 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or your credit card will be charged. Please know that we adhere strictly to the time requirements and Payment Agreement.
